The brief and the real problem
Africa Business School, at UM6P, brought me in as an external expert from February to May 2025. The brief covered content and branding concepts, a stronger identity, a marketing strategy that took emerging technologies into account, new campaign ideas and training for internal teams. Four functions were in scope: Marketing and Sales, Multimedia Services, Admissions and Scolarité, and Business Development.
Read together, the brief pointed past the marketing department. Each of those four functions spoke for the school every day, with its own tools and habits. A plan that changed one of them would have left three voices as they were.
Training inside the strategy
So the training belonged in the strategy itself. I prepared workshops and support materials for Marketing, Sales and Business Development, a separate set for the Delivery Unit, and supported the school as it set an action plan for Marketing, Communication and Sales.
The AI content stayed close to daily work: time management, prioritization and project management; running a team with virtual assistants; campaign analysis, reporting, forecasting and performance tracking; social listening and trend spotting; and support for producing video, animation, Stories and Reels.
Regarder le Futur droit dans les yeux
That was the title of the workshop: looking the future straight in the eye. Fifteen people from Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Admissions were invited to one long, interactive session on the school's premises, where practical AI was demonstrated and then worked through by the staff themselves.
Three recordings of the session are public. They show the training, one part of a wider engagement that also covered strategy, brand, content and the action plan.
Recordings
What it shows.
When an organization adopts AI, the plan and the people who run it have to move together. I work on both: the strategy, and the working habits of the teams who will carry it, across every function that speaks for the brand. The new tools then reach the whole organization, used with judgment by the people closest to the work.
